Founded in 1917, The Salinas Land Co. and California Orchard Co. remain a family owned and operated local business commited to sustainable agricultural practices, strong family leadership and the support for our local communities. We take the stewardship of our property seriously, and our shared history that is over a century in the making is a testament to the richness of the land and the families and shareholders that farm it. Today, the founders’ families still own the two companies along with other shareholders, and have harvested a wide variety of staple crops over the last century.
Having celebrated our Centennial Celebration highlighting over 100 years of successful local farming, we continue striving towards the success of our local community, those families that enjoy our harvest on a daily basis, and those that work with us to bring it to their dining room tables.
