What Makes This Vineyard Distinct

Centennial combines strong current production with future growth potential, making it a versatile vineyard within the portfolio. Water resources at Centennial are supported by the natural recharge of the Salinas River system, where seasonal flows help replenish groundwater supplies and contribute to consistent, high quality irrigation water. This relationship between river and vineyard reinforces SLC’s long term approach to managing land and water responsibly. Centennial vineyard boasts Lockwood channery loam soils which are well drained fertile soils with great water holding capacity. These versatile soils pair perfectly with wine grapes seasonal demands, allowing application appropriate levels of stress during the desired phenolic stages of fruit ripening.
